her heart transplant surgery on June 11!

It's been too long!

Hi Friends!

It has been over two months since I blogged.

Hmmmmmmmm....

Not sure anyone is reading

...but...

just in case...

We ended the school year Memorial Day Weekend.

Another fantastic year

with delightful children!  

I do LOVE summer vacation though!

Since school let out...

Hosted a bridal shower for my  niece, Katie.

Painted a mural.

Spent a lot of time on Instagram!  ;)

My sister, Cathy, had a heart transplant 

on June 11!

She was released from the hospital 

after just one week!

Cathy will be living with her daughter

...in LA...

for the next 3-6 months.

Prayers and a fantastic medical team 

have been behind her.

I will be hosting my BOOtique again this October!

Maybe I'll spend some time this summer...

painting.

Whoo Nelly...

It's not Spring yet...

Not in Chicago at least!

It's February...

and we still have 

Conversation Hearts 

in the house!

out until March.

Then it will be Spring!

Aside from a tiny warm up

in February...

enough to wash the salt off your car...

We don't feel Spring

until late April.

Chicagoans don't dare plant

and we ate it for snack!

It's almost the season of LOVE!

I love the month of February!

Cold, crisp air!

Happy 2013 to you all!!!

I'm started back in preschool...LOVING it!

I haven't even begun to put away my Christmas treasures!

I guess I'll start that this weekend.

The sooner I put away Christmas...

The sooner I can get out my Snowmen and Valentines!

I'm getting the itch to start making some...

Valentine treasures!

In the mean time...

I painted the matting on a frame for a baby boy to be.

After he is born, I'll take the gift back...

And add all of the important baby details...like his name!

I also made custom Birthday Thimbleart with a stand...

for my friends 60th birthday.
