I'm Home from the FABULOUS Mary Englebreit Home Companion Workshop weekend!!!

And...what a weekend it was!
Friday...
Drove down to St. Louis in my RED Beetle with my friend, Carol!
Charming dinner with Carol and another ME fan, Hillary!

Saturday...
Greeted at the MEHC Workshop by Queen Mary Engelbreit herself!!
Workshop #1...Kathy Curotto, Instructor
We made fabulous and fun Boxes!
Workshop #2...Charlotte Lyons, Instructor
We made (or started) equally fabulous and fun Tag Books!
Another charming dinner with even more ME fans!

Sunday...
Workshop #3...Amy Powers, Instructor
We made (or started) delightful Grid Samplers!
Amy had many samples to show us...
and got us started with a little kit she assembled.
I made my sampler in the shape of my RED Beetle!

Why did I only just get started on some projects?
Well, I spent lots of time wondering and visiting!

For me, the MEHCW isn't just about the projects...
it's about meeting and laughing with so many
CREATIVE women!

The MEHCW also about visiting and laughing with
MARY ENGELBREIT herself...
once one gets over being star struck at the mere
sight of ME!

It's June...and not a single flower planted!

Hi Friends!

But...we finally finished painting our Master Bedroom and Bath!
I choose a color from the fabric on our headboard and Roman Shades.
The color is Benjamin Moore...dark beige...2165-40.
I panicked after we had it in the bathroom...too yellow?!?!?
So relieved when complete!
I think it worked out beautifully!
The color really warmed up the room.
I thought you might like to see what I painted on the linen closet in the bathroom.

This weekend I'm off the the ME Home Companion Workshop!
Craft...laugh...eat...visit with Mary Engelbreit...the Queen herself!  :)
Next week I'll post photos of the weekend!

Maybe I'll get some flowers planted after I get home!
