Easter is Coming...

Hi friends!

I think Easter is the time of CUTE!  

All those CUTE little bunnies and pastel M&M's!  

I packed away my Valentines/Snowmen...with Ace's help!  

Out came my CUTE Easter stuff!  

You will note...of course...
that I have lots of Mary Engelbreit Easter stuff!  

Easter decorations wouldn't be CUTE without some ME thrown in!

Speaking of ME...I made my hotel reservation...
 for the June ME workshop in St. Louis!
Now to reserve my classes on April 3!  

What if I don't get in?!?!  

Panic will surely set in!

Another warm weather...record breaking...day in the Chicago area!!

Everything is blooming!  The Chicago area thinks it is June
...not March!

I continue to keep my Uggs in the trunk of my car.

No...not my Uggs but my new ORANGE rain boots.  

The little ones at preschool will LOVE my new ORANGE boots!  :)

The story behind the little Basket Bird Cage I made...

I had seen an adorable version in a mason jar on Pinterest

...and knew I wanted to make it.  

I happened into Pottery Barn over the weekend and purchased a cute wire basket

...which is really a silverware holder.

I made my own version of the adorable birds in a jar in the wire basket.

I think it turned out super tweet for spring.

I used red, white, and blue so I can keep it out all summer.  :)

I have Spring break next week!

 I plan to spend a little time developing my Shadow Box Workshop plans!

Watch for Workshop details on April 1...and that's no joke.  :)

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

It's beautiful...record breaking...warm here in the Chicago area!  

Tomorrow is Family Day at the preschool.

A FUN Saturday when all are welcome!

We are all hoping this FABULOUS weather holds out!!  

I'm keeping my Uggs in the trunk of my car for the time being...

...it is the Chicago area after all.

I finished the shadow box!

I did it!  I finished the shadow box for my girlfriend!  

It is a housewarming gift for her new Florida vacation home.  

She's not 100% sure on her decorating theme yet.  

Blue-Grey is the dominant color in her great room.  

She also has a few shells and birds.  

I hope she likes her shadow box as much as I have enjoyed making it!

This July, I am planning on hosting a shadow box making workshop in my home.  

The box and all materials will be provided.  

You just need to start collecting teeny tiny treasures to fill in the spaces.

I hoping for some GREEN...it is March!  

At least I know we will have some GREEN at preschool soon...

GREEN Day is coming up!

I started working on my good friends shadow box.  

It is a thank you for hosting me in her beautiful Florida home.  

I hope she enjoys it as much as I have enjoyed making it.
