Time for some GREEN!

Well, maybe almost!  

I completed my preschool conference reports...yippee!  

Now, it's time to play!  

I want to make a thank you gift for my friend's hospitality!  

I visited her Florida home just over President's Day weekend.

Now I know what would look perfect in her vacation home.  

Time to get started!  

And then...a GREEN shadow box for me!

Snowing in Chicago!

Hi Friends!

It's snowing in Chicago!  What's so unusual about that?  

Well, this winter we have had the least amount of snow in 80 years!  

Last year, we broke snowfall records!  Today's snow is the wet, heavy stuff.  

Driving down the street was an experience...dodging the heavy snow falling  off the branches...bringing the branches down too!

As for me...my poor body is in shock.  

Just last weekend I was in Florida with my dear friend, Mary.  

I had to keep reminding myself that it isn't summer...

as I was looking at seashells and flip flops!  

I'm used to snow in February!

The snow is a good thing!  

Little ones are having fun OUTSIDE making snowmen...

and NOT playing video games!  

For me...well...this weekend I will be hunkered down inside 

completing my school conference reports.  

I won't even need to put my boots on!  

Maybe I'll put on my flip-flops and dream that I am back in Florida!

What will this simple frame turn into?

Hi Friends!

My "Birth Records" are usually 5x7 frames with illustrated matting...for babies photo.  

I have an order for a twins "Birth Record" which requires a little wider matting.

I found this fabulous frame on sale at Michaels!

The wider matting made a great canvas!
I hope the new Grandma enjoys this gift!  :)

Hi Friends!

Valentines Day is coming!  I LOVE Valentines Day!  

Yesterday, my 4 year old preschool class celebrated with a Valentine Cookie Party...FUN!  Tomorrow is the Valentine Cookie Party with my little Turning 3's!  

Excitement is in the air!
